You raise a valid point. Could we capture a candidates ability to solve problems by watching how they collaborate with AI? I think you’re on to something here. We don’t explicitly require that in our interviews today, but it’s an intriguing idea. You’d need to make sure the idea has sufficient complexity that it requires thinking on the candidates part. Similar to how higher level math classes allow the use of more powerful calculators on exams. The difficulty of the exam must match the power of the tool!
I’m a startup lawyer and don’t have a dog in this fight other than curiosity so this is not a challenge, but how do you know he used Cluely vs some other cheating software?
